Well, the rally is over, and once again the rally site is returning to the quiet farmland it is. This belies all of the hard work done to make the rally a great success once again.
In particular we would like to thank the following (in no particular order) for all of the great work done. Without these people the rally would not happen.
Beckers Transport.
"Scobe" and all of his great staff who carted all the wood, built the
wonderful bonfire and provided a great deal of assistance in cleaning up the
site after the rally. (Plus a whole lot of other things).
The Oturehua Winter
Sports Club.
These dedicated people provide all of the food for the rally. They run the
food stalls both up at the rally main area as well as all of the pre paid meals
down near the lake. They also arrange for the site clean up, and provide
the free coffee on Sunday morning.
Order of St John.
These wonderful people come to the rally site and help out when someone manages
to injure themselves, which is inevitable with such a large gathering of people.
Otago Motor Cycle Club.
While the rally is organised by a sub committee of the club, we also 'rope in' a
lot of other club members and local motorcyclists to help.
Sponsors.
Thank you to the companies who supplied all of the items for the prizes awarded
at the rally. There is a list of sponsors on our 'links
& sponsors' page.
There are also a lot of others who help, in a variety of ways, to make the rally a success. We cannot try to list all of you, as the list would be far to long, but you know who you are.
